To add funds or withdraw funds with your AlertPay account your options are fast and easy: bank transfer, bank wire, money order/cashier’s check.
BANK TRANSFERS:
For Bank transfers you will need to first add a bank account to your account. Please follow these steps:
1. Log into your AlertPay account,
2. Click My Profile
3. Click Set Up Bank Account
4. Click the Add Bank Account.
5. Select the Country your bank account is located in.
6. Enter all requested information regarding your bank account.
Once you have added your banking information to your AlertPay account, for confirmation purposes AlertPay sends 2 micro deposits to your bank account.
These deposits will appear within 5 business days from the date you added your bank account. You will receive an email once AlertPay has confirmation the deposits were made. Once you see the micro deposits in your bank account you will then be instructed to return to the site and enter the amounts.
*For any bank accounts in GBP or Euro there is no confirmation micro deposits sent, once added to the AlertPay account, the bank account may be used immediately to add or withdraw funds.
To confirm your bank account please log into your AlertPay account:
1. Click My Profile
2. Click Set Up Bank Account
3. For the status of the bank account you should see a Deposits Sent link. Please click this link to confirm you bank account.
After you have entered you micro deposits and have clicked submit, you may add/ withdraw funds by bank transfer.
AlertPay deposits are completed in 5 business days and withdrawals are completed in 3-5 business days.
BANK WIRE FUNDING:
Your bank wire is sent by your bank to AlertPay. All bank wires must be sent in USD currency.
The fee for bank wire is $20.00 USD and that amount must be added to the amount you are sending.
To send a bank wire, you will need to create a bank wire transaction and print out the summary and provide the details to your bank/financial institution. Simply follow the steps:
1. Login into AlertPay
2. Select Add Funds
3. Click on Bank Wire
4. Enter in transaction details
5. Confirm details
6. Print out summary
7. Transaction created is in pending status.
It can take up to 2 business days to process a bank wire. Note that the transaction will expire if the funds are not received within 7 days.
BANK WIRE WITHDRAWAL:
For Bank Wire Withdrawal you will need to first add a bank account to your profile. Please follow these steps:
1. Log into your AlertPay account
2. Click My Profile
3. Click Set Up Bank Account
4. Click the Add Bank Account.
5. Select the country your bank account is located in.
6. Enter all requested information regarding your bank account.
When a client registers his bank wire account we require:
1. The account number
And at least ONE of the following;
1. Swift Code
2. Branch Code
3. Bank Code
If you enter the information wrong, the withdrawal will bounce back. We will be charged the fees, and therefore the fees will be deducted from your account.
When the bank is confirmed, you will be able to withdraw your funds by selecting Withdraw Funds and then selecting Bank Wire and follow the instructions.
AlertPay members must be account verified in order to be eligible for this service.
The minimum withdrawal amount is $40 USD; and the transaction fee is USD $20 (Euro 12/CAD $20/GBP 10). It will take up to 3 days for the transaction to be completed.
CHECKS/MONEY ORDERS:
Although this method is still available, we suggest our customers take advantage of the Bank transfer or Bank Wire services, since they are much more secure and you have access to your funds in a shorter period of time.
A certified/cashier’s check is issued by your bank/financial institution, Western Union or MoneyGram and guarantees that you have the available funds. All funds must be in USD currency.
A money order is a payment order for a pre-specified amount of money. Money orders can be issued by a bank, postal outlet or other money services like Western Union or MoneyGram.
Money orders/ cashier’s checks are processed and deposited within 1 business day upon receipt. If you outside of North America please note that we will process your request once we have received the check/money order in the mail.
There can be a delay in depositing your check/money orders if:
1. A certified/cashier’s check or money order transaction was not created.
2. The reference number was not entered on the check/money order
3. One business day has not elapsed
4. AlertPay funding department cannot verify your money order/ cashier’s
check and have put a wait period on the item.
You make it out to AlertPay Inc.
To deposit funds, you will first need to create a transaction before obtaining the check/money order: Simply:
1. Login into AlertPay
2. Select Add Funds
3. Select Certified/Cashier’s Check or Money Order
4. Enter in details
5. Confirm details
6. Print out summary and note reference number
7. Transaction created is in pending status.
You can cancel this transaction if it is in Pending status, simply:
1. Login into AlertPay
2. Click on All Activity link in account overview.
3. Click Details link for transaction to cancel
4. Click Cancel
When you send a check or money order by mail, please allow up to 2 weeks (depending on where you live) for us to receive it. If it has been longer than 2 weeks, please provide us with the serial number of the money order/cashier’s check. We will verify our records for receipt.
If we have not received it, it is possible the money order was lost in the mail. In this case we suggest you contact your issuing agent and have them place a stop payment on the item. At that point you may re-issue a new one.
To perform a withdrawal from an AlertPay account all members have a check withdrawal option. Our check withdrawal method costs $3.00 USD and is sent by regular mail so it will take about 1-2 weeks to reach you. For clearing purposes you will need to verify with your bank to make sure they will accept a check drawn off a US bank account. You may also want to verify with your bank the clearing time for the check.
Our checks are issued by Chase Bank (United States). Check clearing time will depend on the bank your check is deposited to. You may have to contact your bank to verify a specific time.
